Fresh Fruit - What to do on a Rainy Day.
It has been a very rainy day with storms hitting early this morning. Inches and inches and more inches have fallen. It started at five this morning and it is after eight to night and it is still raining. Laurie and I left for grocery shopping in between storms and as we returned home, Morgan and Kelly wanted to head out and The Captain wanted to come to our house. (We live next door.)
He saved his marshmallows for last as he laid back to watch Little Einstein.
He found our new Easter puzzle and while we worked it Oma aka Laurie, cut up some of our fresh strawberries and Mandarin oranges. The Captain was so pleased he gobbled them right up.
We brought three kitchen chairs out and I found some sheets and we built him a ‘tent’ in the middle of the den. In the tent he had a favorite blanket, his stuffed lamb, Woody and Jessie, a pink flash light, marshmallows and pretzels and a big pillow.
We love having him come visit. I am pretty sure we will be building more tents in the future. He loved it!
Did you know his hands glowed red?
